You’ve probably noticed that we’ve announced our new game Interloper this week. What you might not have noticed is that we also discontinued Aril. Interloper is Aril’s spiritual successor. This means it is in a lot of ways similar to Aril but has enough big changes to be considered a different game. I’m going to talk about all the differences between Interloper and Aril to show you exactly how Interloper is different from Aril.

We had the lovely privilege of being invited to show our game at this year’s Indigo in Utrecht. Together with 25 other games we got to present Aril in the beautiful city hall of Utrecht to a wide array of wonderful people.

So because it’s been a while since our last blog post I figure I better write one so you guys don’t get the idea we aren’t working. A lot has happened since last time, we’ve had some serious delay though. As we mentioned before our team shrunk to a size of three, sadly this ex-member caused a lot of trouble which really slowed us down and demotivated us but we’ll tell that story some other time. So this trailer shows off a couple of new things, and most importantly the new art style. We got a lot of comments and feedback on the art style we had a long time ago, and we took our time to figure out something that would satisfy the most people.
